ACORN's Senator Obama

advertisement

Barack Obama wasn't just the second-largest recipient of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac political contributions. He was also the senator from ACORN, the activist leader for risky "affirmative action" loans.

As a former White House staff economist writes in the American Thinker, Obama represented ACORN in a 1994 suit against redlining. ACORN was also a driving force behind a 1995 regulatory revision pushed through by the Clinton administration that greatly expanded the CRA and helped spawn the current financial crisis.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

McCain low in Polls, let's toss a Another Nugget, Acorn, Obama (just don't mention McCain Acorn in 2006).

They’ve tried Ayers, they’ve tried Wright, they’ve tried Palin. Anything to get the subject off the Neo Con stench that saturates the current corrupt Republican Administration. If only voters just wouldn't fact check.org they'd have something.

So now comes Acorn, a low-income voter registration group in the spotlight, it was Acorn that called the Feds to look into these obvious forgeries, because it is the Feds that have the power to prosecute. It still does not excuse Acorn from the scorn of the American public, Acorn's hiring practices are indeed sloppy, irresponsible not to mention very disdaining. There is already the undercurrent of fear and suspicion over Obama when the Rovian smear team McCain hired went into full rabid attack against Obama on his faith, to his American heritage and his patriotism and now claims of his integrity over voter registration.

The Neo Cons once again want you to ignore the facts: http://fightthesmears.com/articles/20/acornrumor they want to believe that it is Obama that is somehow responsible for the subprime mortgage meltdown. They want you to believe that the poor are the ones who are at fault and that it is these poor folk who make up the bulk of the bad mortgage debts and not the greedy predatory loans sharks. They want you to believe that Obama is some mad socialist boogey man cometh from abroad and that he is stealing votes. Despite the forth right candidness over his dealings with Acorn alongside the US Department of Justice in early 90's. Despite the fact that red flagged registrations have not been entered and will not be entered into the system and should Mickey Mouse show up to vote, only then will Mickey be busted for actual Voter Fraud.

In this time and age a scapegoat is essential to deter the American public from focusing on the real culprits of our declining influence over governing ourselves responsibly and guiding the world by honorable examples. The question is after all you know about the past 8 years, will you allow yourself to be fooled once again?
